About the Kilsdonks

Maura Kilsdonk: Head of Business Development, Photographer

Sam Kilsdonk: Founder, Head of Web Development

With an extensive background in entertainment and events management, Maura brings a valuable skill set to Kilsdonk Creative. After Graduating High School in Portland, Oregon, she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Arts, Entertainment, Media Management at Columbia College Chicago. Maura then went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Sports Leadership from Northeastern University. She additionally has built an extensive body of experience in the fields of business administration, marketing and events. Alongside her business career, Maura has also cultivated her creative side as a gifted photographer. During quarantine in 2020, she even earned her certificate in the Fundamentals of Photography from New York Institute of Photography so she can continuously develop her skill sets.

Sam has tinkered with websites and computers since a young age. At 13, he picked up an HTML Visual Quickstart book and hasn’t stopped since.

As a high school graduate, Sam went to University of Massachusetts, Lowell, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Atmospheric and Environmental Science, with a Political Science Minor. This helped him focus both his understanding for technology, and his passion for helping people with it. In the time since, he has developed a number of websites personally and for others, and has honed the craft of matching a client’s vision for how a site should look eye to eye.

Sam also loves music and working with audio. As a student he participated in WUML college radio, and has since spent time podcasting, and creating his own music.
